The iconic boy band the Beach Boys are to release an album of their classic songs with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. ‘The Beach Boys With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ will come out on June 8. The 17 track album will contain among those classic tracks ‘California Girls’, ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’, ‘Fun Fun Fun’, ‘Kokomo’ and ‘Good Vibrations’. The co-producers are Don Reedman and Nick Patrick the duo were behind similar collaborations with Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison.

Fifth Harmony have thanked their fans on social media after their last concert in Florida on May 11. The All girl group have taken an indefinite break to concentrate on solo work.

Clean Bandit have released a single called ‘Solo’ featuring the US singer Demi Lovato. The song which was released on 18th May follows ‘Rockabye’ in 2016, ‘Symphony’ with Zara Larsson and ‘I Miss You’ with Julia Michaels. All the releases are very likely to be featured on the electronic classical trio’s next album.

Nicki Minaj is to release her new album ‘Queen’ on June 15. Her last album ‘The Pinkprint’ was released in December 2014. She has released the single ‘Barbie Tingz’ from the forthcoming last month.

Veteran singer Paul Anka has recorded a song with fellow Canadian artist and rap star Drake, which is expected for release in June. Anka has been an active singer since 1956 scoring his first hit ‘Diana’ in 1957. The 76 year received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Canadian Music & Broadcasting Industry Awards on 10th May. In 1968 he wrote the English lyrics to the song ‘My Way’ which made famous by the late Frank Sinatra.

A butterfly ring which was worn by pop star Beyonce has been gifted to the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Beyonce wore the ring for a series of photographs taken by her husband Jay Z in 2014. The ring which is decorated with 326 gemstones and 342 brilliant cut diamonds will be displayed in the William & Judith Bollinger Jewellery Gallery of the museum.

A posthumous album by Prince is to be released in 2019. As the late singer’s estate work out details, fans of Prince will get the opportunity of streaming the album exclusively on Tidal 14 days ahead of the release. Both sides have ironed out differences over streaming of Princes’ songs.

The song by the Canadian duo Banx & Ranx entered the UK chart at No:70 eight weeks ago and has climbed the chart without a hitch since. The song has only charted in two countries – Ireland and the UK. Ella Eyre has had top 10 hits with Rudimental, Sigala and DJ Fresh either as lead artist or featured artist.
