The Dialog 4G-the Sunday Times Most Popular Schoolboy / Schoolgirl Cricketer of the Year 2018 competitions officially came to an end last week. But the organisers have found that a counting error had occurred during the latter stages of the competition.

The errors had taken place mainly due to technical and counting. However the missed counts still do not affect the final count or, not force any changes in the final standings of the contestants in all three categories.

Wijeya Newspapers Ltd, takes responsibility for the error, and regret any inconvenience caused to any competitor, reader or any other party.

However, it must be noted that Dialog Axiata, the main partners, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the auditors of the online voting system, are not responsible in any way.

We herewith publish the final and official results of the Dialog 4G-the Sunday Times Most Popular Schoolboy / Schoolgirl Cricketer of the Year 2018.
