St. Anthony’s meet their Waterloo
St. Anthony’s who have enjoyed tremendous success so far met their Waterloo when Santush Gunatilleke’s Peterites beat them by 54 runs at Katugastota.
Left-arm spinner Mohammed Ameen had a match bag of ten for 123. He has gone well past the hundred wicket mark. Anthonian sensation Nimanka Jayatilleke also had a ten for in the match. He is up and running on 88 wickets.
Only Sunera Jayasinghe made a half century for the home team. A little surprising for a team that topped the 500 run mark two weeks ago.
