Pharrell Wiliams has revived the old funk group N.E.R.D as he took to social media to say a new album is coming out on 15th December. The album titled ‘No One Ever Really Dies’ will come out seven years since N.E.R.D’s fourth album ‘Nothing’ was released. The 10 track album will feature guest artists such as Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, M.I.A, Andre 3000 and Ed Sheeran. ‘Lemon’ a track featuring Rihanna has been released as the first single. Pharrell Williams is the most prominent member of the group by the fact he has been a successful solo artist. The other members of N.E.R.D are Chad Hugo and Shay Haley.

Liam Payne has admitted that he has struggled with his mental health while touring with One Direction. According to reports from the UK. In 2015 while touring with the group a concert in Belfast, Northern Ireland had to be cancelled with 1D releasing a statement which said Payne had been “taken seriously ill”. At the time Payne had split from his then girlfriend. Liam Payne now lives with his current partner Cheryl and their child Bear.

Reports have emerged that music diva Mariah Carey has signed with a new team to manage her career after she parted company with her manager Stella Bulochnikov in November. Media reports from the US say Carey’s new managers will be Roc Nation which is owned by music mogul Jay Z.

Michael Buble will host Canada’s music industry awards next year after turning it down this year. The Juno awards will be held on 25th March 2018. He also missed hosting the BRIT Awards this year as his son Noah was battling cancer.

The Latin trend still controls the top of the UK singles as ‘Havana’ by Camila Cabello featuring 21 Savage. At No: 1 for a fourth consecutive week ‘Havana’ has managed to collect a 48,000 combined sale of downloads and streams. Meanwhile significant risers on the top 10 are ‘Silence’ by Marshmello featuring Khalid at No:3 from 5, ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran at No: 4 from 6 and the comedy track ‘Man’s Not Hot’ by Big Shag at No: 6 from 8.

Rap artist Stormzy led the entry of new songs to the top 10 this week, with his uplifting track ‘Blinded By Your Grace – Part 2’. The song began its chart life four weeks ago at No: 40, rising up this week from 12 to 7. The track features the vocals of MNEK. The song is Stormzy’s second top 10 hit after ‘Big For Your Boots’ which peaked at No: 6 early this year. ‘Blinded By Your Grace’ is the fourth single to come off his album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.

Selenia Gomez and Mashmello have crossed over to the top 10 on the UK singles chart with the duet ‘Wolves’. The song took an eight notch climb from 17 to No: 9. The EDM track sees Gomez collaborate with the in demand electronic dance music producers and DJ Mashmello. The song is not connected to any album, current or forthcoming of either artist. The song is Selena’s third UK top 10 single after ‘Come & Get It’ (2014) and ‘It Ain’t Me’ featuring Kygo from earlier this year.
