Cinnamon Bay, Beruwala a John Keells Hotel, led by Samith Fernando dethroned defending Champions Heritance Ayurveda Maha Gedera, Beruwela, in the Men’s final of the 40th Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Cricket ’6s’ 2017,concluded at the P. Sara Oval last Sunday.

Fifty one Men’s teams and 7 Women’s teams participated.

Amaya Lake, Dambulla, retained their Women’s title, defeating their sister hotel, Amaya Hills, Kandy, in a repeat of last year’s final of. Last year’s Men’s Runner-up, Amaya Lake, Dambulla, lost to Waters Edge in the 2nd Round.

Newcomers, Hamoos Travels and Ceylon Roots made an impressive entrance. Hamoos Travels reached the pre-quarterfinal stage, while Ceylon Roots did even better by reaching the semifinals, losing to Cinnamon Bay, Beruwala.
