SriLankan Airlines (SriLankan), after a lapse of two years, flew high at the 22nd Travel Trade Sports Club (TTSC) Badminton Championship 2017 to bag the Open Team Championship and the Veterans Team Championship concluded at the S.Thomas’ College Indoor stadium last weekend.

The Open Team Championship had 17 teams competing, while the Veterans [Men Over (O)-40 & Women Over (O)-35] Team Championship had 8 teams competing at this tournament sponsored by Serendib Leisure Management Ltd. for the 7th successive year.

SriLankan dethroned Walkers Whittalls (Whittalls) ‘A’ for the Open Team Championship, while retaining the Veterans Team Championship in a repeat of last year’s final, beating Walkers Whittalls.
