Tendulkar House with 36 points won the Overall Championship to clinch the 19th Inter-House Cricket Championship of the CCC School of Cricket played at the CCC Grounds recently. Tendulkar House was followed by Jayawardene House with 30 points occupied the second spot while Sobers and Bradman Houses finished 3rd and 4th with 19 and 17 points respectively.

Thavisha Ranasinghe of Jayawardene House was adjudged the Most Outstanding Cricketer of the Year while the sporting gesture of Mutahhar Nazir who re-awarded the Best Batsman’s award he won at the Pepsi Cup Cricket Tournament held in Bangalore in May 2017 to the CCC School of Cricket to be presented to the Best Batsman.

Former Nalandian and Sri Lanka cricketer Hemantha Devapriya graced the occasion as Chief Guest and made presentations to winners at the CCC pavilion recently.This Inter House cricket tournament was conducted in the age groups of Under-9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
