Sahini and Kokila of HFC excel at John Tarbat meet

Two girls from Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya — Sahini Peterson and Kokila Amarasinghe — excelled at the recent John Tarbat Athletics Meet held at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama. Shahini was placed in Under-18 Shot Putt while Kokila was placed third in girls Under-18 High Jump.
Meanwhile, Shania Dias of HFC Bambalapitiya had performed well in swimming winning two gold medals and two silvers in recent national level competitions.
At the National Age Group Swimming Championship 2017, Shania was placed first in the Girls 200m Butterfly and second in 400m Individual Medley and 50m Backstroke. She also won the second in girls 800m Freestyle at the All Island Sri Lanka Age Group Championships. At the Western Provincial National School Meet 2017, Shania was placed first in girls 50m Freestyle.
