THE MISFIRED BOYCOTT

Officials of a schools body involved in a sport has decided to boycott the official photograph that is to be taken when the team leaves to an Asian country to take part in a schools net and volleying tournament. The reason for this is that the schools association has decided not to give a helping hand to raise funds for the said tour, but the key body looking after sports in the island had stated that they will try to help the lads concerned to make the tour.
THE VERBAL OKAY
An accounts report (not audited) has been submitted to the top Sports Body. The person who had submitted the report has verbally said that that he is happy. The Top Man in Sport too appreciated the fact and has said that he is extremely happy that the sport concerned is now doing well! It has now been revealed that eight associations belonging to a Western Province Association had not submitted their reports. So how could this be a complete report?
NOT DONE SIR!
The country is all agog at the news that an under 15 sports tournament is scheduled to take place in the near future. Three South Asian countries are billed to take part in it. To the surprise of everybody it has surfaced that the man who had been the live-wire in getting the foreign teams to come here has not been invited by the sports body for a key dinner to be held in connection with the tournament. However a top foreign embassy, which had come to know of this, had personally extended their invitation to the said official leaving the sports association concerned aghast! 
SUITED FOR THE POST?
With the AGMs of several bodies scheduled to be held in the near future, all sports bodies are looking for suitable candidates to head their associations. The people concerned should have stature as well as the funds to help out the association concerned if necessary. The association concerned has found the correct person but he does not have the necessary funds. Will he suffice?
HOLDING THE CAT BACK
The Tournament Rules Book of a popular schools sport has been released after the tournament had been completed. Even the participants were not aware of it. It looks as if the cat had been held back until the rats had bolted.
