England Lions ended their Sri Lanka tour on a winning note when they recorded a 12 runs win on the Duckworth/Lewis method against Sri Lanka A in the fifth unofficial ODI match played at the CCC ground yesterday.

Sri Lanka A taking first lease of the wicket was restricted to a score of 192 with Dhanushka Gunatileke making a top score of 51 and England Lions in their run chase was on 124 for 5 in 26.3 overs when bad light stopped play.

The required target was 113 runs when play was stopped. Sri Lanka A won the five match series having won the first three matches.

Sri Lanka A 192 in 46.1 overs (Dhanushka Gunatileke 51, Dasun Shanaka 32, Ramith Rambukwella 23, Angelo Perera 21, Vikum Sanjaya 30 n.o.: Tom Helm 5 for 33, Liam Livingstone 2 for 27)
