A 126 ball 107 with 15 boundaries by Kaveesh Kumara could not help Dharmasoka College to force a result in their under 19 traditional cricket match against Rahula College Matara as the second days play was called off due to inclement weather at Uyanwatta.

Electing to bat first Dharmasoka were restricted to 215 runs with Kaveesh Kumara scoring his first ton of the season while opener Ravindu Rashantha chipped in with 22. Pasan Samarathunga leading Rahula College this season was rewarded with another five wicket haul while fellow left arm spinner Nuwan Madusanka grabbed three wickets.

Rahula were 89/4 at stumps on day one with Lakindu Chamod on 34 and Nuwan Madusanka on 19 at the wicket but overnight rain which continued in the morning resulted the two captains requesting umpires P Surendra and SumedhaThilakerathna to call off the game at 11.30 am.
