BT-RCB Poll results on ‘bus drivers’ next week
View(s):The results of the BT-RCB poll on “bus drivers, a menace on the roads” will be published on Sunday, November 13 due to a shortage of space this week. The results are quite interesting and coming from different perspectives; email respondents many of whom are unlikely to be using public transport and street respondents, the majority travelling by bus or train. The poll was undertaken owing to a sharp increase in the accident rate. According to the Police, while 18,774 road accidents were reported for the whole of 2015, in the six months to June 2016 alone more than 19,916 accidents have occurred.
