The third Annual Big Match between Atamie International School and Al Manar International school will take place at the Moors Grounds on October 20. This event will be worked-off in two segments for Under-16 and Under-14.

The Under-14 encounter will be played in the morning followed by the big one the Under-16 match. Atamie International School have the edge over their opponents in the Under-16 as they have been playing in the Division III of the Schools cricket tournament and played in the knock-out round last year.

Chamudith Sripramuka will lead the Atamie Under 14 team while Mohomed Rifkhan Ameen captains the Under 16 team. Al Manar International School Under-14 side will be captained by Mohomed Mubashir and Mohomed Nishad will lead the Under-16 team.

Mohomed Ameen the Under-15 skipper of Atamie International told the Sunday Times that he is confidant that his side is sure to pull off this annual encounter as he leads a well balanced allround side and the experience they gained playing in the Inter Schools tournament will help them a long way.

The skipper of the Al Ameen International School Under-16 Mohomed Nishad revealed to the paper that his gallant set of fighters is sure to give a tough game in the big one.

The Under-14 encounter will be a closely contested one as both teams are evenly balanced. Both schools are confident that spectators are sure to witness a day’s of absorbing cricket both in the Under-14 and Under-16 encounters. - LR
