‘Next Gen’ is the latest musical extravaganza featuring sons and daughters of veterans in today’s music field together with their parents. ‘

Next Gen’ Concert will come alive at the Bishops College Auditorium on Sunday, August 21 at 6.45 pm.

The milestone event is organised by promising singer Kasun Pasqual, the son of popular singer Keerthi Pasqual – as the debut venture of Sonic Entertainment .

The August 21 show will feature Kasun together with Raini Charuka (daughter of Chandralekha and Rukantha Gunathilaka), Gayan (Son of Nuwan Liyanage), Jacquailne (Daughter of Chandani Hettiarachchi), Sanuka (son of Sangeeth Wickremasinghe)and Kavindya (daughter of Athula Adhikari and Samitha Mudunkotuwa).

Music for the concert will be provided by Nalaka Sajee Jayasinghe while Narada Bakmeewewa will be the compere.

Kasun, Raini, Gayan, Jacqualine, Sanuka, Sangeeth and Kavindya are no strangers to the music loving public as they are already out there making their presence felt,  but ‘Next Gen’ would be to some extent an official launch of the star kids into the spotlight.

And the star kids are ready to embrace the world of glamour with the full blessings of their parents.

This is the first time in Sri Lanka’s music history that six veteran stars who have enthralled music lovers for decades, will be sharing one platform to launch their six children gifted with inborn talents.
