Rihanna has banned the Pokemon Go game at her Anti concerts after she found many concert goers being distracted by the new game that is universally popular. Rihanna made the announcement last weekend as she asked fans to enjoy her singing.

The UK Official Album Charts celebrated its 60th anniversary recently. Sir Paul McCartney was declared as the most successful albums artist of all time and was awarded an accolade to mark the occasion. The ex- Beatle has had an impressive record of 22 No: 1 UK albums spanning across six decades since the album charts was first published. His total of 22 chart topping occasions include 15 with the Beatles, two with the Wings, one with his late wife Linda and four as a solo artist. The Official Chart Company released the names of individuals who have scored the most No: 1 albums to mark the 60th anniversary. They are Paul McCartney – 22 albums (15 with the Beatles, 2 with the Wings, 1 with wife Linda and 4 solo), John Lennon – 18 (15 with the Beatles, 3 solo), George Harrison – 17 (15 with the Beatles, 3 solo),  Ringo Starr – 15 (with the Beatles), Robbie Williams – 15 (4 with Take That, 11 solo), Elvis Presley – 12,  Madonna – 12, Phil Collins – 12 (6 with Genesis, 6 solo), David Bowie – 11.  The first UK album chart was published on 22nd July 1956.

Veteran artist have dominated the top earning positions from touring between 2015 and 2016 according to reports largely for the most part of this year.  Leading the way is 66 year old Bruce Springsteen with his E Street Band who grossed $135 million from 45 shows. Madonna aged 57 raked in $124 million with 58 shows, Beyonce $97 million with 18 shows, The Rolling Stones $84 million (average age per member 72, Coldplay $68 million, Justin Bieber $57 million, David Gilmour aged 70  $42 million, Iron Maiden average age per member 59, Taylor Swift $33 million and Carrie Underwood $30 million. The figures were based on ticket sale between November 2015 and June 2016.

Drake’s ‘One Dance’ has now levelled against Wet Wet Wet’s 15 week chart reign with ‘Love Is All Around’. And if the song can hold on to the No:1 position for another week then it will level with Bryan Adams ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’. But indications are ‘One Dance’ could be toppled by a new track called ‘Cold Water’ by Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber and M

The only song which managed to cross over to the top 10 UK singles chart this week is ‘Treat You Better’ by Shawn Mendes. The song is the lead release from his next album ‘Illuminate’. The pop track moved up from 13 to give the 17 year old his second UK top 10 hit. ‘Treat You Better’ has had a seven week ride to the top 10 since it debuted on the chart at No: 31. Mendes scored a big hit with ‘Stitches’ last year as it topped the UK singles chart.
