Air Force and Army booked their berth to the final when they defeated Navy and Colts CC in the SLC Women’s T20 semi-final matches played at the Colts ground yesterday. Chamari Atapattu was the heroine for the Air Force’s win against their Navy counterparts when she cracked an unbeaten 77 in only 59 balls which included nine boundaries. In contrast Army’s win was a collective team effort with useful knocks coming from batswomen for them to make a score of 117 and then the bowlers combining to restrict their opponents to a score of 85. The final between Air Force and Army is scheduled to be played at the CCC ground.
