Izzadeen boots three goals for Army against Matara

National player Mohammed Izzadeen, representing the Sri Lanka Army, banged in three goals in-a-row against Matara FC in the Dialog Champions League 2016 Stage III game at the Matara Football Complex yesterday.
Last week too Izzadeen was amongst the goals scoring four goals against Blue Star Kalutara. In the game yesterday Army overcame Matara FC 3-1 and at the end of the first half they led 2-1.

So far Izzadeen has scored seven goals in two games, which is the highest scored so far in the competition.
Yesterday Izadeen scored his goals in the 10th, 22nd and 64th minutes. Matara FC’s goal was booted in by M.O. Frank in the 17th minute.
In other Dialog Champions League games played yesterday Saunders SC beat Super Sun SC Kalutara 3-2. Saunders led 2-1 at the first half. The goals for Saunders were netted in by Chrishantha Abeysekera (7th minute), Sachith Dharmapala (45th minute) and C.B.A. Mohammed (70th minute).
The goals for Super Sun was scored by M. Safraz (45th minute) and Nuan Priyankara (63rd minute). The Saunders-Super Sun game was played at the Kelaniya Football Complex.
In the other game Air Force beat Tihariya Youth 3-0. All goals were booted in the first half by Kavindu Ishan, D. K. Duminda and Nipuna Bandara. The game took place at the Air Force ground, Ekala, Ja-Ela.
There are five matches scheduled for today. They are: Negombo Youth vs Blue Star at the Kelaniya Football Complex; Civil Security Force vs Colombo FC at the City Football Complex; Solid SC vs Crystal Palace SC at the Prisons Ground Colombo; New Youngs vs Renown at Albert F. Peiris ground Wennappuwa and SL Navy vs Java Lane at Navy ground Welisara.
