Artistes gather to celebrate New Year

The Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations of all Sri Lankan artistes titled ‘Kala Kethe Avurudu Da’ will be held from 10 am on April 30 at Viharamahadevi open air theatre in Colombo.
Starting with new year festivals with Avurudu Kreeda or new year games, there will be a musical concert with the participation of popular singers at night at the same venue. Organised by Sirilaka Eksath Kala Sandhanaya, the organization’s president well-known singer Sriyani Dissanayake and secretary W. Premaratne invite all artistes to be present there.
