HelpAge Greeting Cards for needy elders’ cataract surgeries
View(s):The name HelpAge Sri Lanka (HASL) comes to the minds of young and old during festive seasons. Like in previous years this year too HelpAge has produced over 100,000 New Year greeting cards.
The proceeds from sales will be utilised to conduct free cataract surgeries for needy senior citizens over 55 years. Any needy elderly citizen who needs cataract surgery could have it free at HelpAge Eye Hospital, Wellawatte (Opposite Savoy Cinema).
HASL, Manager Fundraising, Ruchilalani Batuwantudawa said these New Year cards are printed on high quality imported Ivory linen boards and they are priced between Rs. 35 to Rs. 40 each. The cards are available at all leading book shops and supermarkets countrywide.
The cards could also be personalised free of charge with the company name and logo in black for a minimum of 150 numbers.
