Last month saw the launch of Colombo’s first boutique salon – Luminaire. From haircuts to hair colouring, Luminaire’s internationally-trained and experienced salon artists are aiming to create stylish looks for Colombo’s fashionistas.

A beautiful, plush bespoke interior, located in a quiet cul de sac off Jawatte Road in Colombo 5, inspires clients to relax and unwind.

A Colour Bar, the first of its kind in Sri Lanka, offers a unique experience in colour, whether one is in need of an inspiring change or merely wishes to maintain a current style.

Luminaire is the brainchild of Nadisha Wittachy, Luminaire’s Art Director and CEO, with over two decades of experience in styling, colour and beauty.

Nadisha’s training experiences include the Toni & Guy Academy in London. She is joined in the senior styling team by Praneeth Jackson, who has wide international salon experience including working with French stylist Alexandre Zouari, at the Zouari Hair Salon at the One & Only Royal Mirage and One & Only The Palm, in Dubai.

Salon Luminaire is at 15, Sulaiman Avenue, Colombo 5.
