This week the elusive figure behind the name KDA has edged out One Direction in the race for the No:1 song on the UK singles chart.

KDA made it with the club anthem ‘Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)’. KDA was supported by Tinie Tempah and Katy B on the track.

The song by the British DJ and producer debuted straight at the top of the chart with a lead of 2000 copies over nearest challenger One Direction’s ‘Perfect’.

KDA’s song was originally an instrumental popular on the club circuit. But for commercial purposes rapper, Tinie Tampah and vocalist Katy B were tagged on.

For KDA ‘Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)’ is his first UK No:1 song, but for Tinie Tempah it has been seven times either direct or as a featured artist while for 26 year old Katy B it is her very first taste of success even though as the featured artist.

One Direction released their new song ‘Perfect’ last week with much fanfare. Yet the song only managed to debut on the singles chart at the No: 2 position losing out to KDA.

‘Perfect’ is the second single to come off their next album ‘Made In The A.M’. Of course not all 1D singles have ended up at the top of the chart.

‘Perfect’ underlines the group’s gradual transition from teen act to an adult group as the song itself fits the AOR genre.

‘Perfect’ is written by group members Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson along with Julia Buneta, Jesse Shatkin, Jacob Kasher, John Ryan and Maureen McDonald.

Meanwhile in another development group member Louis Tomlinson will embark on working with Simon Cowell as they try together an all girl group.

Meanwhile another 1D member Liam Pyne has been helping out the new Irish group Home Town by penning their new single ‘The Night We Met’. Former X-Factor mentor Louis Walsh put the group together in 2014.

After teasing her fans with untitled song, Adele has confirmed her news single is titled ‘Hello’ which was released worldwide on UK TV on 23rd October.

The video for ‘Hello’ was filmed in Montreal, Canada. By 26th October the song had been viewed by over 73 million on YouTube.
