Justine Bieber recaptures the UK Singles No:1 for the third time with his song ‘What Do You Mean?’ this week. It streamed more than 2.91 million times last week. The track, his most successful release, first topped the UK charts six weeks ago.

After a week at the top it was replaced by Sigala’s ‘Easy Love’. A week later ‘What Do You Mean?’ was back in the saddle at the No: 1 position holding on for two weeks before Sam Smith’s ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ from the James Bond film Spectre dethroned it.

But this Justin hit moved up a notch again to reclaim the No:1 spot for the third time. Of course he is not the only artist to have been able to achieve that note.

Frankie Laine’s ‘I Believe’ did it in 1953, Guy Mitchell’s ‘Singing The Blues’ did it in 1957 and more recently Pharrell Williams was able to do it with ‘Happy’ in 2014.

Canadian rap artist Drake saw his song ‘Hotline Bling’ taking a 9 point jump on the UK singles chart.
