A carnival of paintings and cartoons
View(s):‘Siththaru Andi Roo-3’, an exhibition of paintings, cartoons and caricatures created by 100 painters and cartoon artists will be held on October 22 to 25 at the National Art Gallery, Colombo 7.
The exhibition will comprise of a large number of water colours, poster colours, oil painting, portraits, line arts and comic cartoons created by welknown artistes who are mostly in the media industry.
The exhibition will provide rare opportunities to budding painters and cartoon artistes to talk to the veteran in the field and get advice derived from their expertise.
The exhibition will also provide opportunities to buy painting equipment at a reasonable price and people will be able to buy comic story books at discount prices.
