‘Sulanga Gini Aran’ (Dark in the White Light), Vimukthi Jayasundara’s lates film has been selected to compete for ‘The Golden Leopard’ in the International Competition section at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.

The film stars Steve De La Zilwa, Ruvin de Silva, Suranga Ranawaka, Mahendra Perera and Kaushalya Fernando.
A Sri Lanka-France co-production, ‘Sulanga Gini Aran’ navigates between a monk striving for purity, an organ dealer looking to make money, a young woman in love and a man who is both a “doctor and a demon” for the aforementioned characters.
