Isipathana after being restricted to ten points at the breather made up their points through two goals and four tries.

The Wesleyites put in a fine performance in the first half but the conditions due to bad weather made things uneasy for the team which the Isipathanians took advantage.

Isipathana opened scoring through second row Chathura Dilshan in the 17th minute and ten minutes later number eight Omalka Gunaratne went over for their second try with both conversions being fluffed.

The resumption saw Isipathana increasing their lead through an unconverted try scored by wing Sachin Dilshan in the third minute and two minutes later prop Sachin Alawathugoda went over for his side’s fourth unconverted try.

The rain slowed down the proceedings but that did not prevent Isipathana from going over for two more tries with Omalka going over for his second try and flanker Vageesha Weerasinghe scoring the last try while flanker Nisal Deshitha booted over the two conversions.
