President of the 7-a-Side Football Association of Sri Lanka, Major Nilupul Wedarachchi has been appointed as Vice President of the Asian 7-a-Side Football Federation. Wedarachchi, who hails from Tangalle, is an old boy of St. Servatius College Matara. He was a top goalkeeper and represented many clubs prior to joining the Sri Lanka Army.
