Dilendra Ratnayake and Brinstan Peiris made St. Joseph’s College proud at the 78th annual Mt. Lavinia Two-Mile Sea Swim 2015.
Dilendra and Brinstan guided St. Joseph’s to the Boys Under-14 Championship for the Dayananda Brothers Challenge Trophy with vital wins. Dilendra was placed first in the junior category and won the Bata Challenge Cup. This was the second successive year that he won this event. His team-mate Brinstan won second place in the same event. St. Joseph’s swimming is coached by Ruwan Manawadu, former national swimming coach. – NA
