‘NYE 2014’ by Fantasia at Water’s Edge
‘NYE 2014’ the biggest New Year Bash in town featuring world renowned DJs Max Graham and Grum will come alive at the ‘Water’s Edge’ in the Capital City on 31st December starting at 9.0pm. ‘NYE 2014’ is organised by Fantasia Inc. along with YES FM to celebrate ‘Art, Love and Life’.

The event is designed to be one, which is different and unique, in comparison to other events organised in the island. Fantasia-Inc together with media-WIZE will put together Sri Lanka’s biggest event production for a New Year’s Eve themed event. The aim is to provide a unique experience to our audience. Generally, all events organised during this season is made in a stereotypical pattern, which will serve dinner and breakfast alongside live performances by bands or DJ’s. We want to step aside from this status quo and organise events, which are of international standards, and embrace the growing EDM culture of the world’ explained Mahal Wijetunge, the partner of Fantasia Inc.
The DJ max Graham is an American based DJ. ‘Cycles’ is Max Graham’s ‘Yearly Snapshot’ of his own musical journey, a collection representing the natural progression in his taste. As always with ‘Cycles’ the elements of melody shine through this classically mixed compilation (like Graham’s own ‘Redemption’ and his remix of Solid Stone and Jennifer Rene’s haunting vocal tune ‘Not Enough’), but much like his successful career.
‘Solid Stone’, a mainstay in Graham’s set list, has no less than three unreleased tracks. Also making two appearances is rising star Thomas Vink whose production style effortlessly combines organic Techno beats with beautiful melody and emotion. From Guy J’s progressive label ‘Lost n Found’ to Techno’s Drumcode and Yin Yang Cycles once again celebrates all that’s good on that dance floor regardless of genre.
‘Grum’ is a popular DJ in North America and by the end of 2012 Grum had played the ‘Creamfields’ main stage with Tiesto, the mainstage at Ultra of ‘Fatboy Slim’ and ‘Above & Beyond’. ‘Fantasia-Inc was created with one thing in mind, that is to be The Ultimate Source Of Entertainment in the island. As Fantasian’s, we want to create an atmosphere of happiness, where we celebrate Art, Love, Individuality and Life’ said Dinul.
