‘Hope in Harmony’ is a Chorale established with a group of highly talented vocals under the guidance of Eshantha De Andrado. The Chorale was initially established in 2008 and has been contributing for various causes throughout the years. This year the chorale wishes to extend their love in a much larger scale with the addition of a number of new extremely talented voices joining them.
‘Hope in Harmony’ is currently rehearsing for the upcoming concert ‘I’ll be Home for Christmas’ to be held on 21st December 2014 at the British School of Colombo Auditorium at 7.00pm. The concert’s theme is evolved around a family gathering for the holidays and sharing their joy and happiness vocally. The evening promises a little bit of drama and loads of fun and music with an experience of a lifetime and a chance to sing along to your favorite Christmas carols.
Renowned soloists such as Mary Sharmalee de Silva and YES FM Super Star winner Dulani Ramanadan will also take stage to add color to the evening.
All proceeds of this event will be used to upgrade living standards of the ‘Camilla School of Mentally & Physically Challenged Children’ and for a Christmas Party to be hosted by the Chorale for the kids at the school. The “Camilla School of Mentally and Physically Challenged Children” in Mattegoda, currently is a home to 71 Mentally and Physically Challenged Children of all ages. While life is far from comfortable for these kids, the numbers of independent sponsors are close to none. Therefore, “Hope in Harmony” has extended their love this Christmas to put a smile on the faces of these kids. The “Hope in Harmony” Chorale invites everyone to come join us at our family gathering for an evening full of fun, joy and laughter and a good memory to take back home.
