Clamouring to give advice
Still in Lion City, an athletic meet took place last week with six athletes and five coaches. Most of these coaches were seen at shopping malls and sports followers are wondering whether these five coaches for six athletes, went over there for shopping or to help the athletes. Talking of helping the athletes, in what way can they help except giving advice?

No Head Coach

With a key tournament scheduled to start in Lion City next week, a lot of activity is taking place in the sport. Followers of the sport claim that the local team has no head coach and even the technical coach’s place in the bench will be unoccupied at the contest. Anyway the team has concluded its training and is now ready to board the flight. Whatever the differences this sport may have, we wish them well and hope that they will return with the Lion Flag fluttering .

Overlooked

Let’s hope that everything is well with the team scheduled to go to the Asian Tournament. The latest is that the lady who was supposed to captain the team has been overlooked and she has not been attending practices. But it looks as if this lady’s services are badly needed because she is in the tour squad. It is also noted that this lady is also a good friend of a top official in the sport’s Interim Board and has been ear-marked to be in the tour squad.

No to Cherry Blossom land

There was a big hue and cry opposite the Top Man in Sports office last week. The reason for this uproar was that a certain lot of athletes were not given permission to go to Cherry Blossom land lest they decide to decamp. Because of this the veterans who gathered there were adamant that they are going to this country for sports and not with the intention of staying there. Now these veterans are trying to change the Top Man’s decision by tapping his colleagues in his home town. Will they succeed?
