“Gutikaamata Niyamithai” A Play on losing identity
View(s):‘Gutikaamata Niyamithai’, a comedy play starring W. Jayasiri, Sarath Kothalawala and Dharmapriya Dias in the lead will go on the boards at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m. on September 7 at the Namel Malini Punchi Theatre, Borella.
Depicting how one loses one’s own identity in society, the play is directed by Thilak Nandana Hettiarachchi and presented by Jude Srimal for Nirmala Prakashana.
Behind the screen stage lighting is handled by Chandana Aluthge, music by Shantha Peiris and make up by Saman Hemarathne. Stage settings and costume designs are by Llewellyn Vanderwall and Janaka Thilakarathne respectively while Sumedha Prasanna, Ruwan Kumara and Susanga Kahandawalaarachchi handle the stage management.
