German Visa Application Centre opens in Jaffna
View(s):The German Embassy is now issuing Schengen visas through the newly set-up VFS Visa Application Centre located at 89, Brown Road, Jaffna.
In a media release, Head of the Embassy’s Legal and Consular Section Michael Grimm said that that this allows visa applicants in the North to save time and money by avoiding travel to Colombo, and helps streamline the application process to a marked degree.
The VFS centre in Jaffna also accepts Schengen Visa applications for visits to Austria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
