Trinity romped home by beating Science College 38-16 at Pallekelle yesterday.
Trinity touched down on five occasions and converted every time. It was Trinity skipper Tarinda Ratwatte who was responsible for the kicks also added a penalty.

Science’s 16 points came off two unconverted tries and two penalties.

In the initial twenty minutes, Science played a good game and took the fight to their opponents. However, the home team weathered the storm and came back after that to have 24 points on the board at lemons (24-8).

Trinity was in control for much of the second half, but they could only add 14 points. Science added eight points to their half time score.

Sachinta Dissanaike (center), Isuru Rangala (number 8) and S. Perera scored in the first half. Ratwatte goaled all three and converted a penalty.

Tries by Lankatilleke and Samarasekera helped to swell the Trinity score in the second half.

R.I. Fernando (first half) and I. Viraj (second half) were the scorers for Science – P.C. Jayasinghe was successful with two penalties.
