Adikari fires for Sampath Bank
Centre forward Avinda Adikari fired two goals for Sampath Bank in their 3-0 win over Amana Bank in a Mercantile FA knock-out football fixture at Campbell Park recently. At half time Sampath Bank hled a 2-0 lead.
In the 11th minute of the game, Adikari put Sampath Bank one up and seven minutes later midfielder S.P. Priyadarshan made it 2-0. After the change of ends, Avinda Adikari fired his second goal to seal a 3-0 win for Sampath Bank. The game was refereed by N.K.Sandakelum, while the co-ordinator was A.G. Gunasena and match commissioner was Anton Atapattu.

Commercial Credit downed SriLankan Airlines 1-0 in their MFA knock-out soccer fixture at Campbell Park recently.
In the 22nd minute, centre forward M.K.G. Prabath scored the solitary goal to put Commercial Credit one up. There was no scoring in the second half of the game. The game was refereed by K. Chathuranga, while match co-ordinator was A.G. Mendis and Anton Atapattu was the commissioner. – BM
