Red Bull Infinit Racing’s newest Formula One driver, who visited Sri Lanka recently and drove one of the team’s championship cars along Colombos streets, got a feel for the new RB10 F1 race car at the model’s launch recently.

Unveiled at the pit lane of the Jerez Circuit on January 28, the RB10 was later test driven by Daniel and four-time champion, Sebastian Vettel.

“As a team we have enjoyed hard-fought success in recent years winning the last four Drivers’
and Constructors’ titles. Now the game changes and due to the new regulations, the RB10
has little in common with its predecessors,” the Infiniti team said in a written statement.
“We’ve loved the last nine seasons, our tenth starts here.”

Daniel was in Sri Lanka in December for the Red Bull Show Car Run, an initiative which sought to open up the world of F1 racing to Sri Lankans. It also saw Daniel and crew from the Red Bull Infiniti team participate at the recent Colombo Night Races, where the Australian driver cruised through the heart of the commercial capital in an F1 race car.
