Mobitel offers Huawei Ascend Y220 contract with free phone
View(s):Locally-based celco Mobitel has teamed with phone-maker Huawei to offer an 18-month contract plan on its Ascend Y220 smart phone, which will see those who sign up receiving a new smart phone, valued at Rs. 10,000, free of charge at the end of the contract period.
According to the announcement of the deal; “The contract will require Mobitel customers to sign up for an 18 month period. This contract comes along with a special Mobitel post-paid package. This package includes the following absolutely free on a monthly basis: 2GB data, 100 M2M minutes, and 500 M2M SMSs. An initial refundable deposit of Rs. 10,000 must be made upfront at the time of signing the contract. At the end of the contract period, customers will be eligible to receive a brand new smart phone free [to] the value of Rs.10,000… The Huawei Ascend Y220 smartphone is a dual SIM phone which has a 3.5 inch touch screen and a rear camera of 0.3 MP. The Huawei Y220 also has a high memory capacity of RAM: 256MB, ROM: 512MB, Micro SD (up to 32G) and is available in black. The authorised agent for Huawei is Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC and the Huawei Ascend Y220 along with the contract plan will be available to customers at all Singer outlets including SISIL World, Singer Mega and Singer Plus as well as at Mobitel branches and outlets islandwide”.
