CPR training for medical students
View(s):The College of Anaesthesiologists of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Health Ministry will hold cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training over two days for medical students who have completed the final MBBS examination and are awaiting appointments at the end of this year.
The schedule, as issued by the College, is as follows:
November 1 and 2 -
-For those from the Colombo Medical Faculty, the course will be at the Auditorium of the National Blood Transfusion Centre, Narahenpita.
- For those from the Ruhuna Medical Faculty the course will be at the Clinical Lecture Theatre of the Karapitiya Medical Faculty.
-For those from the Sri Jayewardenepura Medical Faculty, the course will be at the Gunawardana Auditorium of the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Kalubowila on the first day and at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Sri Jayewardenepura University on the second day.
-For those from the Peradeniya Medical Faculty, the course will be at the Main Auditorium of the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital.
November 7 and 8 -
-For those from the Jaffna Medical Faculty, the course will be at Lecture Theatre, Town Hostel premises of the Jaffna Medical Faculty.
-For those from the Eastern Medical Faculty, the course will be at the Main Auditorium of the Batticaloa teaching Hospital
-For those from the Ragama Medical Faculty, the course will be at the New Auditorium of the Ragama Medical Faculty.
-For those from the Rajarata Medical Faculty, the course will be at the Auditorium of the NTC Anuradhapura.
