Book Launch: ‘Entertainment and Broadcasting Law’

The launch of Chanakya Jayadeva’s “Entertainment and Broadcasting Law for Sri Lanka” will take place on October 31 at 6.30 p.m. at the JAIC Hilton Residences. This is the first public venture of Chanakya, lawyer and broadcaster, who has also made several contributions to several law magazines in the past. The book turns the spotlight on entertainment law and covers all aspects; from television agreements to music law, production and film and new media and publishing. A subject that has not been actively pursued in Sri Lanka the book discusses the status of entertainment law abroad and according to the author carries the intention of “educating people on the norms of entertainment law”.
The book is available at all Lake House Bookshops.
