Residents in Kotahena yesterday complained to Police that an unidentified group had distributed forms seeking personal information.

Kotahena Police Officer-in-Charge I. Ovitigama said the residents had asked him whether he knew who the group was.He said if any state intelligence agency was collecting data the police were usually informed beforehand. The forms that were distributed by persons in civvies had asked for details including full name, address, nationality, National Identity Card or passport number, phone number, place of employment and the date of employment.
