A salute for Senanayake
View(s):Award winning writer and script writer Somaweera Senanayake will be felicitated for the valuable service he had rendered for over 30 years as a screenplay writerto the television drama industry. The event will coincide with the launch of Mr. Senanayake’s latest book ‘Thira Rachanayak Liyamu’ (Lets write a screenplay) at 3.30 pm on October 10 at Mahaweli Centre, Colombo 7.
Organised by Sahurda Sanhinda Kala Wimansa Ekamuthuwa, an organisation comprising of artistes, playwrites, actors and actresses, the felicitation also pay tribute to teledrama directors who made their directions to Mr. Senanayake’s screenplays.
