The meeting followed by refreshments and camaraderie accompanied by vibrant baila music was held on ‘8th on the lake’, the Cinnamon Lakeside’s floating venue by the side of the Beira. The new office bearers are as follows: President – Chaturanga Perera, Vice President – Amal Fernando, General Secretary -Sampath Kulatunga, Treasurer – Hiran Perera, and committee members – Anura Perera, Nuwan Perera, Jude Samaraweera, Harsha Pathiraja and Randika Perera while the Past President is M.R.A. Hakeem.
The club is sponsored by Etisalat with the Cinnamon Lakeside as the host hotel.
