The Sri Lanka Customs spokesman Leslie Gamini has reacted to last week’s Sunday Times story titled ‘Customs bust major online vehicle racket’.

Mr Gamini says he did not reveal the information mentioned in the news item nor had he been informed of any such case as detected by the Customs.

Reporters note: Mr Gamini did confirm that there was an ongoing inquiry into the detection by the Customs. The Customs inquiry into this matter is currently ongoing.
