99X Technology, a SL Top 15 ‘Great Place to Work’ : Study

Sri Lankan IT firm 99X Technology was named as one of the country’s Top 15 ‘Great Place to Work’ organisations, based on an inaugural study conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute Sri Lanka, according to a statement.

The study was commissioned by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and business magazine LMD.

In addition, the statement also noted; “A legacy that began back in 1981, today the Great Place to Work Institute yearly works with more than 5,500 organisations, representing over 10 million employees. Its most notable study ‘World’s Best Multinational Workplaces’ lists the 25 best of the best and making it to the 2012 list were SAS Institute, Google, NetApp, Kimberly-Clark, Microsoft, Marriott and FedEx Express amongst various others”.

The statement also commented that “[in] comparison with the global Top 25 multinationals, 99X Technology scored an overall 92 per cent in contrast to the global benchmark figure standing at 89, surpassing the percentage of positive responses towards factors such as credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie”.
