‘Sannali Sihinaya’; Hirdaramani’s Got Talent
The first ever talent show in the apparel industry in Sri Lanka, ‘Sannali Sihinaya’- ‘Hirdaramani’s Got Talent’, outshining the aesthetic talents of those employed in the industry will have its mega finale on December 22 at Sugathadasa Indoor stadium.
Organised by Hirdaramani Group, the final took place with the participation of 150 selected out of more than 2000 among those working in the 18 garment factories.
Hirdaramani’s Got Talent’ goes beyond ordinary talents shows as it uncover talents not only in singing, instrumental and dancing but talents in writing poetry, songs, short stories, drawing and compeering.
The talents of those selected were spotted by a welknown team of artistes, writers and musicians specially those involved in the leading reality shows in the country. Musicians Rohana Bogoda, Neela Wickremasinghe, Nirosha Virajini, Samitha Mudunkotuwa, Maurice Wijesinghe, Nelu Adhikari, Mahinda Bandara, Raju Bandara, Tissasiri Perera, Shashika Nisansala, Dhammika Bandara, Kalawathi and Kasun Kalhara involved in grooming the talents in music while leading dancers Ravibandhu Vidyapathy, Nemali Budhawatte and Chandana Wickremasinghe were involved in selecting the talents in dancing.
An expert team of writers including Senior lecturer Dr. Praneeth Abayasundara, Jayathilake Kammelaweera and Ratrnasri Wijesinghe were involved in selecting the talents in writing and poetry while compeer Vipul Dharmapriya Jayasekara and leading media personnels were responsible in selecting talents in compeering.
The organizing of the talent show was done by a group of well-known artistes in the reality shows including musician Navaratne Bandara as the concert concept and music, Dr. Sunil Wijesiriwardena as concept developer, Kapila Kumara Kalinga as concert script writer, Upali Ariyasiri as creative director and Boolitha Pradeep Kumara as media coordinator. Nuwan Bandara Disawe is the creative director of the show. The show presenter is Kamal Addararachchi.
