‘Senasuru Maaruwa’ moves to Australia
View(s):Udayakantha Warnasuriya’s latest film ‘Senasuru Maaruwa’ will be screened in Australia in July and August. This film based on a story by Dr. Tissa Abeysekara will be screened at Dangenong- Reading theatre in Melbourne at 4 pm on July 29, Elderrado- Indroopilly theatre in Brisbane at 6 pm on August 5 and at Epping-Reading theatre at 4 pm on August 12 in Melbourne.
The screenplay written and directed by Udayakantha, ‘Senasuru Maaruwa’ stars Channa Perera, Seshadri Priyasad, Lucky Dias, Buddhika Jayaratne and Nadeeka Gunasekara.
Cinematographed by K. D. Dayananda, the film isedited and sound controlled by Praveen Jayaratne. Rukantha Gunatillake has done the playback for ‘Senasuru Maaruwa’ which is scheduled to be released in September in Sri Lanka.
