Triumphant SLIIT team, bags prize at Android Challenge 2012

Two final year Software Engineering students of SLIIT, Amodth Jayawardena and Thameera Sajith won the Android Challenge of the Champions 2012 competition organized by Etisalat and hSenid recently at Waters Edge.
The team was adjudged winners for their application, which was developed in line with the popular card game Omi for android phones. Omi contains local language support and can be downloaded at Google Play by searching for the keyword Omi.
Selection and judging criteria for the competition included number of downloads of the application, its utility value, and richness of the look and feel and ease of use.
