The APIIT Toastmasters club celebrated its 50th meeting on the August 8, 2011. Since the day of inception, the club has been chartered and is operating in its 3rd consecutive year, with its new eclectic group of executive committee members, with the passion and motive in making the club a President Distinguished Club during the tenure of 2011/ 2012. Having been highlighted as the youngest club in the country with young and enthusiastic office bearers, APIIT is the first private higher education institute to initiate a Toastmasters’ club. APIIT Toastmasters’ club aspires to train individuals to be better speakers and leaders and friends helping friends in a fun filled exciting environment aids in fulfilling the core motive of the club.
