A different take on Cinderella

The Deanna School of Dancing will take on the much loved fairy tale Cinderella. The performance is based on the Novel by Charles Perrault a French author, and will be staged in four beautifully choreographed Acts.

The production is to be held at the Bishop’s College Auditorium from May 27- 29 2011 and will showcase the talent of children aged between 2- years and 25 -years. It will be directed and choreographed by the head of the senior school, Natalie Jayasuriya and part of the proceeds will go to charity.

The production will feature and showcase the talents of over five hundred students. Natalie, together with her sister Natasha and a few senior teachers from the Deanna School of Dancing, shall contribute to putting together the entire production that is scheduled to last up to one and a half hours.

Cinderella will be the first show to be solely choreographed by Natalie, although in the past she has been a part of many of the Deanna School of Dancing Productions. The box plan is available at the Deanna School of Dancing, 30/63H, Longden Place, Colombo 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There after they will be available at the Bishop’s College Auditorium, Colombo 2.
