DeeZonE at the Park Street Mews

Commencing Sunday , 17 October and thereafter every third Sunday of the month, Damian Wickremathilake with DeeZonE will be seen in action at the Park Street Mews from 7.00- 11.00pm.
DeeZonE is a six piece band and Damian’s first outfit as the leader and the founder.

‘After being with many bands for than 20 years, I thought I should start my own thing and DeeZonE was born in May of this year’ said Damian. DeeZonE comprises Dozzen ( Nilantha) Ariyaratne on Bass/ Vocals, Diren Saba on Drums/ Vocals , Dilip Seneviratne on Keyboards/ Vocals, David Ravin Ratnam on Electric acoustic Guitar/ Vocals and finally Darron Gregory on acoustic Guitar/Vocals /Keyboards. Damian is doing most of the vocals for the band.

DeeZonE actually got off the ground in June with their first gig . ‘We intend to be in the music scene for a long time and we promise all our fans to provide high quality music’ he muses.

Their repertoire include stuff from the Eagles, Elton John, Bryan Adams, Bee Gees, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, the Commodores, Bon Jovi and a host of others from 60’sto 90’s

Damian Wikramathilake certainly needs no introduction to the western music scene in Sri Lanka- a past member of both Purple Rain and Wild Fire.
