Funday Times - A Poem for the week

Rhythms of Nature
By Nesan Sellathurai (13 years), St. Nicholas' International College

The world is so old,
They say it's made of gold,
How beautiful the waterfall,
No matter how tall.

How long is the Nile,
So full of crocodiles,
So merrily the birds sing,
Next to a fresh water spring.

The sun gives a shimmering light,
It's nature lovers' true sight.
The glamorous colours of flowers,
Is a creation of God's powers.

The dew on the grass,
Makes it look like crystal glass,
The tree of life that binds,
Animals of all kinds.
